Make one PDF from receipt photos
Put each JPG or PNG on its own A4 page. Choose portrait or landscape, then check that small receipt text is readable.
Prepare the photos before adding them
- Read the amount, date and other small text in the original photo. Retake it if those details are blurry.
- Rotate any sideways photos in an image editor before adding them. Choosing portrait or landscape changes the page shape; it does not rotate individual photos.
- Choose 1–10 JPG or PNG images and arrange them in the order you want. Each image becomes one A4 page.
Choose one orientation for the whole document
Portrait works well for tall receipts; landscape suits wide photos. Your choice applies to every page. Images keep their proportions, so there may be blank space around them.
| Setting | PDF pages | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Portrait | Portrait A4 pages | Tall receipt photos |
| Landscape | Landscape A4 pages | Wide photos or scans |
Enlargement makes text bigger, not sharper
“Enlarge smaller images to fit” makes small images take up more of the page. It cannot make blurry text sharper. Turn it off if you do not want to enlarge smaller images. Images that are too large for the page will still be scaled down.
Check the PDF before sharing it
- Select “Create PDF”, download the result and count the pages. Two uploaded images should produce two PDF pages.
- Check that the receipts are upright and in the correct order.
- Read the smallest text at the size you plan to view or print. For transparent PNGs, also inspect the background.
